Chemistry
What happens between the enlarger and the drying line.
- Bath 1
Expose
Fill in what the coin is called, a caption and a motif, and pay 0.0007 ETH. All 900M coins go into a single pool against ETH, starting at a 1.45 ETH valuation.
- Bath 2
Stop bath
The first 90 seconds cap every wallet at 0.04 ETH per buy. The creator first pour is the only exception and the print page labels it.
- Bath 3
Develop
Each buy pours more ETH into the tray and the print gets darker. Sealed coins show their ticker at 45% and their name at 75%.
- Bath 4
Fix
Once the tray holds 3.3 ETH the print is fixed. Liquidity is locked for good and the frame gets its sprocket stamp on the sheet.
Stages
| 0.00 ETH | Latent | Paper is still white. Something is on it. |
| 0.49 ETH | Toning | Shapes and the first darks are showing. |
| 1.48 ETH | Ticker up | Sealed prints show their ticker here. |
| 2.47 ETH | Full tone | Name, art and creator are all readable. |
| 3.30 ETH | Fixed | Liquidity is locked. The print is permanent. |

Questions
Can a creator change a sealed ticker after launch?
No. The hash of name, ticker and a salt is written at launch. When the reveal happens the site checks it, and a mismatch would be flagged in red beside the print.
What does the 0.8% go to?
Split down the middle: 0.4% for whoever exposed the coin, 0.4% for the room. Both directions pay it.
Can I buy something today?
The site is. The frames are samples and the tray contract is still in the drawer, so these frames are for looking at.
Why 21 negatives?
A strip of 35mm film usually comes back cut into rows, and 21 frames fit three rows of seven. It looks right on the page.
